FROM 3 TO 4! JUSTICE LEAGUE GROWS BY ONE MORE!

Ray-Fisher.Cyborg.Victor-Stone
ray-fisher_as-Cyborg.MOS2A report by Variety states that the upcoming "Man Of Steel (2013)" follow-up film featuring Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) will now have even more reason to expect a full fledged "Justice League" film to soon follow. Reason being the very recent addition of Ray Fisher to play the role of Victor Stone aka Cyborg.

Not much has been reported on the details of the part as of yet, other than it will initially be a small role (origin?) amongst the trinity film featuring the Big 3 of DC Comics. Most fans are aware of the character, Cyborg, however not much is known about the person who is now set to portray him, Ray Fisher. Variety reports that he is more of a stage performer, best known for having played the part of the legendary Muhammad Ali in "Fetch Clay, Make Man". And he is also apparently being looked at by J.J. Abrams for a part in the soon to be "Star Wars Ep.VII". So, one might be safe to assume that this young man has proven his worth on stage, but is also another part of a movie where most are left to "wait and see". One thing is for sure, this now eliminates who Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be portraying when he possibly (and likely) steps foot into this new DC movieverse. It is however nice to see Cyborg getting a shot, and only time will tell as to who will follow. For a list of other Justice League members who are due to make their silver screen debut, head HERE!

WONDER WOMAN WEIGHS IN ON WONDER WOMAN

WW.Wonder_Woman.Lynda-Carter.Former Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter recently did an interview with The Huffington Post and weighed in with her thoughts on the iconic character returning to the spotlight with Gal Gadot and the Man Of Steel (2013) follow-up. Lynda may not be the official "first" live action Wonder Woman (Cathy Lee Crosby has that honor), but she is defined the most recognized after starring in the hit television series in the 1970's.

"I'm in her corner. I just hope they write well for her!" Lynda says of Gal Gadot's upcoming role as the Amazonian Princess. "I'm very hopeful she embodies the essence of Wonder Woman," she told the Huffington Post, "It's less about super powers and more about heart and intellect and a sense of right and wrong with a goodness in her." She also adds, "Often times, writers really want to take a male superhero and dress him up as a female - and that's just not who she is."

WW.Gal_Gadot.Wonder-Woman.You can read more of the original interview at The Huffington Post and read more on Lynda Carter's thoughts and current music endeavor. It is nice to see that she supports Gal, though it seems to be the trend amongst those who have actually played the parts of iconic superheroes and villains. Any negative feedback on things seem to come from the actors who may be fans, may also be bitter about not getting cast, or ever being cast. Lynda Carter also seemed to nail things on the head in that it it falls onto the shoulders of the writing of the character and how they plan to portray her. Two routes are generally taken with female characters, men dressed as women like she said, but also as pure sex symbols. Hopefully, neither of these are the case in the Man Of Steel follow-up. Like everything in this film, we must wait and see. Things are about to film in Detroit (enter Batfleck) so it won't be long before we get an idea of the direction of both the film and the icon that is Wonder Woman.
